Lina Lungu

Lina Lungu is currently the Head of Business Development at the Lusaka Securities Exchange and has been in this position for the past 2.5 years. She has been part of the LuSE team for 4 years. In her role, she has represented the exchange on a continental level through the African Securities Exchanges Association and the Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges. On a national level she represents the exchange on the Sub-Committee for SME Inclusion under the Ministry of Finance. Lina has been part of major projects at the LuSE such as the LuSE Commodities Market, the LuSE GEM Portal for SME funding and the MyLuSE Mobile Application. Lina holds a Bachelor of Business, with a major in International Business. She has also completed the Investment and Stockbrokers Course offered by the Zambia College of Pension and Insurance Trust. Lina is also a part time facilitator for the Investment and Stockbrokers course and teaches the Roles & Functions of the Securities Exchange and Understanding the Exchange Trading Board. She enjoys reading African Literature, eating good food and helping people understand the Capital Markets one step at a time.
