Alfred M. Mwila is an economist, with over 20 years of professional and academic experience with a broad range of experience dealing with all aspects of economic analysis, econometrics, research and corporate administration. He is a graduate of economics from the following: University of Zambia; Colorado State University Economic Institute; and North Carolina A & T State University. He also has certification in PRINCE II, a tool for project management. Mr Mwila has professional experience spanning across academia; public and private sectors. He has significant experience in planning, organizing, directing and monitoring progress. Prior to joining the Energy Regulation (ERB) he was Assistant Director – Research and Policy at Zambia Revenue Authority. His employment history includes working as a full-time lecturer of Micro/Macroeconomics, price analysis, marketing and econometrics at the University of Zambia; worked at Zambia National Farmers’ Union as National Economist and later as Deputy Country representative for the USAID Famine Early System. He is an executive member of the Economics Association of Zambia.
